Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the weekly update. Summer is fast coming to an end, and we are happy to welcome everyone back to classes. This week saw the launch of our exciting new Strength, Conditioning & Olympic Lifting classes. So far, the feedback has been great and we are excited to see your development over the coming weeks. Let’s take a deeper look at what Happened at Transformance this week:
Week in review:
- Strength – Wednesday 18:00, Horgen – Coach Linda – Our members took on the challenge of developing their overall strength, focusing on a wide stance Back Squats and Bench Press to set the foundation of PRs to come in the near future. Why not check out the class next week to join the challenge and see what you can achieve?
- Olympic Lifting – Thursday 19:00, Horgen – Coach Noemi – Noemi provide members the opportunity to benefit from her extensive knowledge of Olympic Lifting. This week, members looked at the core concepts of the Clean & Jerk and Snatch and undertook many fun drills to improve technique. Come along and tr the class next week at 7pm on Thursday.
- Conditioning – Various days / times throughout week in both locations – This week saw the launch of our conditioning class, replacing bootcamp. This class is focused on improving aerobic capacity, through maintain a elevated heart rate for a longer period of time than our usual CrossFit WODs. This is a great opportunity to come and get a simple, but very effective workout. This class has been proven to improve athlete’s ability to work at higher levels of intensity for longer period and is a great addition to your CrossFit training.

New Morning Classes in Horgen
From September we will add two new class slots as a trial in Horgen for the early birds. On Tuesday & Friday we will now offer a 6am & 7am class to give you an extra chance to start your day the right way. Don’t forget to set your alarm clock!
This Saturday 31st August we will close both of our gyms to undergo our annual coaches training day. This is a great chance for us to reflect on the past year and develop our coaches to make sure that we continue to provide you with the very best service towards your goals. Classes will be back to normal next week.
