Another busy week at Transformance, with lots of changes to our booking and result tracking systems and the unfortunate departure of Coach Noemi. Let’s take a look at the week:
Week in review:
Transition to SugarWOD
This week saw the final week of ZenPlanner and welcomes the launch of SugarWOD into Transformance for our training tracking software. If you haven’t already, please download the app from your AppStore and register your ‘Primary Gym’ as ‘Transformance’. From there, you will be able to see the WODs for our respective classes, but also be able to log your own workouts into the app too! So not only is this a great app for those who join our classes, but now also much more valuable to those who are doing additional training in Open Gym, Personal Training or working on a PTP programme. In addition to this, you can also pull WODs from many well known international brands, such as CrossFit.com or Comptrain to see their daily programming.
If you have any trouble downloading or setting up the app, please let us know.
Transition to SportsNow
Whilst SugarWOD will be used for tracking workouts, going forward we will use SportsNow for making class reservations and billing going forward. This app can also be downloaded in the AppStore on your mobile device and will be used for all class reservations and billing of memberships. This app allows much more flexibility in terms of how we process payments and therefore we are now also able to accept card payments within the gym. Of course, if you prefer to do a bank transfer, that is still an option.
All current memberships should now be in the system, but we are still working on adding hold and future membership data. You should have received an email with login data yesterday, but If anyone is still having trouble with the app and cannot reserve classes for next week, please let us know and we will take a look into it. But don’t worry, we will find a way to make sure that everyone gets to join the classes they want to next week, even if they couldn’t get the app to work.
CrossFit Open 2019
The CrossFit Open is just 2 weeks away, and preparation in classes has been going great with our weekly Monday Open WOD. For those who have signed up to take part, you have now been allocated into either team Blue or Black. There are two categories, Scaled or RX, with a workout being released each week for 5 weeks. These will test all areas of fitness and provide you with a great benchmark to track your future development. If you would still like to register, it is not too late. Follow the link below for details:
The Open is for everyone (you have been doing Open Workouts for the past 5 weeks every Monday, so we know that you can do it!), but even if you don’t want to participate actively, you can still take part in the social events. Take a look at our Facebook events and come along to celebrate the success of your friends:

Goodbye & Goodluck to Coach Noemi
Unfortunately, Coach Noemi has decided to leave the Transformance Team to further pursue her career in the insurance industry. Whilst Coach Noemi has only been with us for 3 months, I think that you would all agree that she made an amazing addition to the team and her knowledge and experience will be missed! We hope that you will join us in wishing Noemi the best of luck in the future and her now career.
