We’re fast approaching the final event of the 2020 CrossFit Open and finding out which of the elite athletes will earn their invitation to the CrossFit Games. Meanwhile, our own leaderboard is slowly taking shape, although there were some movements in the table this week with some great achievements and PRs set by many members. Congratulations to everyone who not only achieved a PR, but managed to do so after so much volume from the rest of the workout.

Let’s take a look at this week’s Top 3…

2nd – Pascal Geromini

3rd – Tobias Kellerhals

Women’s RX

2nd – Linda Morgenthaler

3rd – Noelle Scholze

Men’s Scaled

So, after week 4, Team Black were able again to claw back some of the lead from Team Blue, to go into the final week within touching distance of taking the lead.

Team Blue : 165 points

Team Black : 160 points

With a potential 5 additional points available each week to be awarded for ‘Team Spirit’, every small gesture and support for your colleagues on the final day could be enough to tilt the scales in your teams favour and win this year’s title of ‘Horgen’s Fittest Team’.

For the final week of the competition, we will again host Friday Night Lights. Although this was originally planned to take place in Meilen, we will now host the event in Horgen along with lighting and announcer, with heats starting at 5pm.

Please bring along something to share with the rest of the team and enjoy a celebratory beer with use to close the 2020 CrossFit Open.
